SCA Releases Access to the Results of the Specialty Coffee Roaster/Retailer Benchmarking Study

In April of this year, the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) launched a survey for the new Roaster/Retailer Financial Benchmarking Study: a business tool that offers roasters and retailers a way to measure their company performance against the objective industry standard. The idea is to deliver business information to people and companies in the specialty coffee business, contributing to the support of more informed business decisions. The study offers a way to help business managers and owners understand the industry landscape so they can improve their operations.

The initial data will be presented in U.S. Dollar. Data presented in Euro will be released when there is a substantial amount of respondents. The survey is still open for responses – roasters and retailers are encouraged to submit their data through the survey in order to access the results at no cost. For those who are unable to participate, access to the results can be purchased here.

All data entered is secure & confidential. No one will be able to access entries from other companies, only industry aggregates. For more details on this, please visit the Support page after login.

To login and access the USD survey’s industry benchmarks, use the following link: scafbs.com. If you have already created an account and participated in the survey, you can login to retrieve your company’s key performance measures and compare your own company measurements against the industry benchmarks.

Please note that participants must have completed at least 50% of the survey to access the results for free. The industry benchmarks are updated in real time so the data collection will remain open for those who still wish to participate in the survey. To complete the survey, visit scafbs.com.
